Jeff Horn
 
Executive Director - Jeff has been a resident of southern Nevada since 1972. Growing up in the Las Vegas area he has witnessed first-hand the many changes that have taken place in our valley. He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1987 and his Masters of Science in Administration from the University of Nova in 1990. Jeff has been an educator in the Clark County School District for the past 22 years and most recently the principal of Green Valley High School for the last six years. He started the first ever student/athlete random drug testing program in the state of Nevada in January 2008. Since that date 12 high schools in the District randomly test students for illegal substances. High schools in Northern Nevada began testing last year and are expanding to more schools this coming school year. Jeff brings with him over 21 Years of experience in the field of recovery. His understanding of addiction and his experience as an administrator are a perfect fit to further the mission of the Foundation for Recovery.

Vicki Sager
Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director - Vicki has lived in Henderson, Nevada since 1966. Having moved to the Las Vegas area in the mid-sixties, she has seen a multitude of changes take place in southern Nevada. Vicki attended CSN for her classes in business and graduated from Basic High School in 1970. Vicki has been an administrative school secretary in the Clark County School District for the past 39 years and most recently as the administrative assistant at Green Valley High School for the last 17 years. She began as the administrative assistant to the Executive Director at the Foundation in May of 2009. Vicki was on board with our Executive Director when he implemented the first ever/student athlete random drug testing program in the state of Nevada in January 2008.

Christal Krehnovi 
Donor Development Coordinator - A native Las Vegan, Christal joins the Foundation for Recovery with an extensive background in non-profit leadership. A graduate of UNLV, an 18 year banking career and prior service as the Development & Relationship Director for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, are components of her resume. When not working on donor development and funding streams for the Foundation, she is involved in various volunteer efforts including animal welfare/advocacy and equestrian events.



Heidi Gustafson

Community Relations Manager - Heidi began her career at the Foundation for Recovery as a volunteer in 2006.  Heidi was hired as the Foundation’s Operations Manager and then moved to her current position of Community Relations Manager.  As a person in long-term recovery, the Foundation for Recovery mirrors the mission and vision of Heidi’s own personal beliefs.   She has been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1995.  She has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Diego, CA, and grew up on the east coast.  As a previous owner of several successful businesses, Heidi brings a fountain of knowledge to the Foundation.   Heidi volunteers her time not only to the FFR but to various other recovery-focused and 12-step organizations.

 

Megan Smith
Operations Coordinator - Megan started as a volunteer and quickly moved through the ranks of the Foundation by working as a cashier, retail coordinator and then promoted to the position she now holds as our the Operations Coordinator. Having been in recovery for three years, she is a valuable employee and active member at all functions and events pertaining to recovery and the Foundation for Recovery. Megan has lived in Las Vegas for 16 years. Megan’s volunteer work has mainly been for the Foundation and for NA.

 
 

Kadie Dungey
Visual Communicator - Kadie hails from Reno, Nevada and has lived in the Las Vegas area for six years. Kadie has pursued higher education at UNLV and the Academy of Arts in San Francisco. Kadie is the Foundation’s Visual Communicator. She uses her expertise for the Foundation in the area of graphic design and web design, preparation of brochures, and various other duties pertaining to making things visually beautiful.

 
 

Kelly Dennehy
Research Department Manager - Since 2005, Kelly has conducted research in the field of behavioral science and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During the summer of 2009, Kelly obtained a teaching and research fellowship at Harvard Medical School in which she studied the molecular mechanisms of axon guidance during various stages of embryo development. She is currently enrolled in her second bachelor’s degree at UNLV, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. Kelly has been a team member of the Foundation for Recovery for the past two years and has been a resident of Las Vegas for six years.

Logan Smith

Research Assistant - A native resident of Las Vegas, Logan is currently a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and plans on graduating with his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. He actively participates in research with the Foundation for Recovery and on-campus at UNLV.

  
 

Caitlin Bumford
Archivist - Originally from the Detroit area, Caitlin moved to Las Vegas to serve as the Foundation’s archivist in the fall of 2009. While earning a BA in Anthropology from the University of Michigan and an MS in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, she worked in various museum and archives positions at the Missouri State Archives, the Lyndon Johnson Presidential Library, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and several other collecting institutions. Caitlin is excited about working with the Foundation’s significant collection and sharing it with the public.
