The disease of addiction affects more than 23 million Americans every year. Less than 10 percent of those individuals receive the help they need*. The Foundation for Recovery focuses on viable solutions to treat this chronic disease by providing services to affected individuals, their families, and their friends.
Incorporated in 2005, the Foundation for Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Foundation's mission is to make recovery from addiction more available to the addict who still suffers and is inspired by the principles exhibited in the lives of addicts who have found and continue to live in recovery.
Funding
The Foundation is supported primarily by individual and corporate charitable donations. As you learn about this devastating disease, please consider helping us increase the availability and quality of recovery programs. Make your tax-deductible donation online today to support the Foundation's initiatives. Together we can bring hope and recovery to those who suffer from addiction.

Library, Archives & Museum
The Foundation for Recovery Library, Archives, and Museum collection documents 150 years of addiction and its prevention- and recovery movements in the United States. These 200 cubic feet of books, artifacts, audiovisual and archival materials cover, among other recovery topics, the temperance movement, prohibition, historical treatment methods, and 12-Step recovery fellowships, with a primary focus on Narcotics Anonymous. At this time, the collection is in its initial processing stages and is unavailable for research. However, we are able to share a small portion of our material with the public through a free exhibit at the Foundation for Recovery store.
